Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday morning September 24, 2011. Ilah was born August 1, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Donald and Ilah Border Roberts. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Charles Services for 4 years. Ilah was also a member of the Kalamazoo Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, James A. Snow Jr.; a brother, Ralph Shelly; and 2 infant daughters. Ilah is survived by 4 children, James Snow III, Lorie Snow, Kelley Snow and Tabitha Juarez all of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Gloria Harper of Detroit, MI, Emojene Donald Nelson of Kalamazoo, and Louisa Richard Peak of Alabama; a brother, Donald Nancy Roberts of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
