Of Clermont, FL Formerly of Kalamazoo Howard Lee Coville age 83 passed away on August 26, 2008. He was born on May 14, 1925 in Elkhart, Indiana to Howard Lee Coville, Sr. and Emma Buchholz. He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1943 and served 3 years in the Navy. He was a life member of the Masons in Aurora, Colorado and retired from Western Electric Co. in 1983. On June 19, 1948 he was married to Alice Lorraine Gardineer and just celebrated their 60th year anniversary in June 2008. Howard is survived by his wife Alice, daughters Sherry Dale Dove, Donna Al Mendez, 3 grandchildren, Jeff Julie Dove, Brad Chele Dove, Mindy Darrell Legg and 8 great-grandchildren. Howard has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, 10:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be from 9-10 A.M., just prior to the Memorial Service. Interment will be at Battle Creek Memorial Park, 2435 W. Territorial Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015, where Masonic services will also be held. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice.
