Hermiena F. Selles

SELLES, Hermiena F. Of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday evening, April 22, 2007. Hermiena was born November 5, 1925 in Gorinchem, the Netherlands the daughter of Jan and Cornelia DeBoon Doeland. Prior to her retirement in 1985 she was employed with Pediatrics P.C. as a nurse and was a member of Third Reformed Church. Hermiena was very spirited, loving, and supportive. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends, and her neighbors. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elsje Kus; a grand-daughter, Nichole Kus; and 3 sisters. On September 26, 1951 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Frank Selles who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Connie Selles and her husband Peter Czuk; grandchildren, Ryan Kus, Audrey Selles-Czuk, Racheal Selles-Czuk; and her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 o?clock Thursday at Third Reformed Church, 2345 North 10th Street, with Rev. Dr. Jeff Porte officiating. A gathering in the fellowship room will immediately follow. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo, or the American Red Cross.
