WEAVER, Herman A.
Of Plainwell, MI Passed away Wednesday morning, September 30, 2009. Herman was born May 28, 1916 in Terre Haute, IN the son of Henry and Hazel Lister Weaver. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 31 years with the Brown Paper Company. Herman was an active member of the Martin Reformed Church and the National Assoc. of Railroad Passengers. Herman loved Toyotas, playing the guitar and singing; and was known for his jokes and sense of humor. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Matthew. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Edith Weaver; his second wife, Alice; a son, Herman Weaver; and 2 brothers, Robert and Eugene Weaver. Surviving are 4 children, Eleanor Roberts, Linda Dick Washabaugh, Randy Londa Weaver, Meredith Vickie Weaver; grandson, Matthew Weaver and several other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother and sister, John Oma Weaver, Doris Carl Lee Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1:00 o'clock Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Pastor Jim Goldschmeding officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Sunday evening from 6-8pm at the chapel. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice. www.langelands.com
