KEYSER, Henry Richard
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Henry Richard Keyser was born October 10, 1926, in Kearney, Nebraska, the son of Henry and Marie Bunger Keyser and passed away February 11, 2010. During WW II, he served in the U.S. Navy as a radio operator on a ship stationed in the Philippines. Henry was a Kalamazoo area resident since 1964 and was employed as a research scientist for over 20 years with The Upjohn Company prior to his retirement. On November 24, 1949, he was united in marriage to the former Gloria J. Bruner who preceded him in death on July 1, 1993. Also preceding Henry in death were his parents and a sister Wanda K. Babb, of Lakewood Colorado. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Hamlin of Schaumburg, IL; a son, Paul Keyser of Kalamazoo; two grandchildren, Julia Hamlin and Andrew Hamlin. There will be no visitation or services in Kalamazoo. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Shelton, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Henry's memory may be directed to the United Way of Kalamazoo. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street.
