Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning December 5, 2011. Helen was born September 25, 1918 in London, England, a daughter of Donald and Winifred O'Rourke Black. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Kalamazoo County Health Department for many years, retiring and moving to Park Forest, IL, in 1990. Helen attended Kalamazoo First Reformed Church years ago and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Richton Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Forster in November of 1997; twin brothers, Les Elnor and John Marge Black; and a sister, Mary Rudy Hayes. Helen is survived by 2 step sons, Chris Karen Forster of Peotone, IL and Gus Forster of Washington State; several step-grandchildren; several family members of her adopted Ervil and Lila Nutter family, Robert Carolyn Nutter, of Port Charlotte, FL, Donnita Will Hahnenberg, of Paw Paw, and Sandra Richard Hintz of Kalamazoo; close friend Fiia Jokela of Park Forest, IL; and niece and nephews, Nancy Michael Mizerny of Bowling Green, OH, Ron Ann Black of Perrysburg, OH, Rick Margy Black of Texas, and Doug Black of Toledo, OH. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery South. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Richton Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pets of the Homeless
