Formerly of Kalamazoo Died Saturday morning January 19, 2008 in Allegan. Hazel was born January 9, 1930 in Bear Creek, Alabama a daughter of Jeff and Ivery McInnish Nelson. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a member of the Plainwell Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. On December 3, 1949, she was united in marriage to Clare D. "Junior" Harrington who survives. Also surviving, a son, Mike Kathy Harrington of Allegan; a grandson, Shane Harrington of Allegan; a sister, Lois Brown of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 1 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
