Harold E. Vincent, 87 of Kalamazoo, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Born on November 4, 1933 to Harold (Frances) Vincent in Chicago Illinois.
Harold is survived by his loving children Lacinda (Jeff) Hess, Joseph E. McNally III, Grandchildren, Sheila (Chris) Kahl, Kathy (Kevin) VanFulpen, Rick (Wassyona) Kahl, Brian (Thea) Gross, Lea Swanson, Melissa McNally, Great Grandchildren Cynthia (Valentin) Voineag, Alex Wright, Ben VanFulpen, Noah Bigley, Jessica Kahl, Jacob Watson, Ellliot Gross, Bryn Gross, Harmony (Jacob) Wellington, Jeremiah Watson and Madalyn Watson. Also survived by siblings Lois (George) Malik, Carry (Gail), Anna (Jerry), Linda Iris, Larry Stewart and Anthony Stewart.
Preceded in death by parents Harold and Frances and his former wife Martha Matrau and siblings, Jean (Warren), Rodney (Ronnie)Vincent, Hugh Stewart Jr. and Timothy (Pam) Stewart.
Harold proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He was a devoted to his family as a father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He loved music, fishing, coin collecting, stamp collecting, bird watching and bird feeding. He was the family storyteller at all of the family gatherings. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation for Harold will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial and Cremation Center Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009, Monday, November 9, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required. Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd. Augusta Michigan, 49012, on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Veterans Association.
