Harold Vaught Mattmiller

Galesburg, MI Died Sunday afternoon June 21, 2009 at his residence. Harold was born December 23, 1922 in Antigo, Wisconsin a son of Harold and Theresa Vaughn Mattmiller. Years ago, he served Honorably with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1967 and was employed with General Motors for 37 years, retiring in 1983. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers. On March 22, 1945, he was united in marriage to Maxine J. Chrisbell Mattmiller who survives. Also surviving, a son, Harold Karen Mattmiller, Jr. of Mendon; a daughter, Becky William McGehee of Portage; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 4 brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Fort Custer National Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
