Halo G. Dykstra

Died Saturday evening May 8, 2010. Halo was born April 29, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Charles and Caddie Temple Lane. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church years ago. Halo was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Wilbur and Charles; and 2 sisters, Fay and Laura. On February 2, 1996, she was united in marriage to Norman R. Dykstra who survives. Also surviving, 3 daughters, Robin Arnold Williams and Terri Michael Howell Maurer all of Kalamazoo, and Deborah Peter Krueger of Portage; 6 grandchildren, Sean, Oliver, Lucy, Kyle, Jeremy, and Danielle; a sister-in-law, Esther Lane of Venice, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends at Crosstown Parkway Senior Community. Services will be held 1 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
