MAGIERKA, Gregory J.
of Paw Paw Passed away November 14, 2011 in Kalamazoo. He was born April 23, 1951 in Kalamazoo to George and Lois Bahm Magierka. Greg was united in marriage to Brenda Gould on October 9, 1987. Brenda survives. Also surviving Greg are his children, Timothy Rachel Magierka of Mattawan, Danielle VanDerSlik of Paw Paw, Tasha Phillip Hubbard of Mattawan, Shane Shannon Thompson of Lawton and Blair Thompson of Paw Paw; 13 grandchildren; his parents George and Lois; brother, George Ron Susan Magierka; sister, Margaret Rick VanLeeuwen; mother-in-law, Evelyn Gould; sister-in-law, Karyl Burton; and many nieces and nephews. Greg worked at Graphic Packaging for 33 years. On his off time, he was an avid golfer and hunter. He loved to travel with his wife and especially enjoyed the east coast where he could enjoy his favorite seafoods. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where the funeral service will take place Friday, 1:00 o'clock. A private interment will take place at Maple Grove cemetery, Mattawan. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Greg's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
