CORNELL, Mrs. Gracie L. Hadaway
Kalamazoo, Michigan Died Monday evening June 23, 2008 at her residence. Grace was born December 14, 1938 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee a daughter of William and Hazel Walden Hadaway. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1956 and was employed with Borgess Hospital for 28 years before retiring. She was also a member of the Church of God Family Worship Center for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Charles Hadaway. She is survived by 4 children, Mikel Rose Cornell, Sara Steve Motter, Mark Rose Cornell, and Jason Cornell all of Kalamazoo; a godson, Jerry Kathy Hadaway of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Nancy Richard Barnett of Galesburg, David Sandy Hadaway of Kalamazoo, Alvera Fredericks and Linda Hadaway both of Kalamazoo, Rosemary Rick Ballinger of Galesburg, Joseph Joyce Hadaway of Kalamazoo; and Sara Robert Boyd of Chattanooga, TN; an uncle, Joe Walden of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday at the Church of God Family Worship Center, 5841 East H. Ave. Visitation will be 2-8pm Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
