Grace J. Bosma

BOSMA, Mrs. Grace J. of Kalamazoo Went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Grace was born June 5, 1913 in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Jacob and Hattie Boerema Herlein and has been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life. She was a longtime member of the Parchment Christian Reformed Church where she had been active in many activities. On May 23, 1942 she was united in marriage to Ebeling Bosma who preceded her in death on May 7, 2001. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jay and Louis Herlein and two sisters, Trena Drewes and Julia Drenth. Surviving are two daughters, Joan Jim Bero and Karen Mike Sunnock and special friend Kent Dunn all of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Autumn Laurel Sunnock; two sisters, Pauline Smith and Wilma Hekkema both of Muskegon; a sister-in-law, Nell Herlein and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday today from 3-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. A private family Graveside Service will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon Friday at the Parchment Christian Reformed Church 1615 East G Ave. with Rev. James VanderLaan officiating.
