Gordon D. Kramer

KRAMER, Gordon D. of Kalamazoo Gordon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, May 24, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born September 30, 1931 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Beulah Kramer-Fitzpatrick. Gordon was employed by The Upjohn Co. for 35 years until his retirement. He was an over 50 year member of Calvary Reformed Church where he was an elder, deacon and Sunday school teacher; and was a foster parent for 30 years. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Nancy Kramer; two daughters, Sharon Kramer of Kalamazoo and Kimberly David Kramer-Bossi of Portage; six grandchildren, Danielle Kramer, Zachary Potter, Breanne Potter, Joseph Potter, Kiersten Kramer and Maria Kramer; one great-grandson, Logan Kramer; and sister, Nancy George Ice of Cadillac. Preceding him in death were two sons, Gordon Kramer II and Michael Kramer. Memorial services for Gordon will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Calvary Reformed Church, 7829 5th Street, Mattawan, with Pastor Greg Van Heukelom officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 10-11 AM at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Calvary Reformed Church or National Kidney Foundation.
