Kalamazoo Died Saturday, October 13, 2007. Gloria was born April 18, 1907 in Midland, MI, a daughter of Ira and Victoria Raymond Woodruff. She was formerly of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI but had been a Kalamazoo resident for many years. As a young woman, she was employed by the Fordson Board of Education in Dearborn, MI. She was a member of the Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Detroit District Dental Auxiliary, Detroit Yacht Club, and a volunteer at Michigan Cancer Foundation for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Victor J. Taylor; and two sisters, Dorothy Robinson of Midland and Mary Kaiser of Saginaw. She is survived by a son, Thomas Taylor OSA of Matteson, IL; a niece, Sheila James Ware of Kalamazoo; a nephew, David Sharon Robinson of Rochester, NY; a great-niece, Cynthia Brill of Oak Park, IL; and a great-nephew, Stephen Ware of Ketchum, ID. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 5, at The Fountains at Bronson Place, 1700 Bronson Way, with Rev. Wayne M. Conner officiating. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Augustinian Guild, 20300 Governors Hwy., Olympia Fields, IL 60461-1081; Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, 222 N.
