Glenn Scott Burrows

Glenn S. Burrows, age 66, died Sunday, May 12th, at Kairos Dwelling, after a long illness. Glenn was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and was a graduate of Comstock High School. Glenn was athletic and talented in many sports, but his favorite was golf, at which he excelled. But what he truly excelled at was being a friend. He was a gentle-hearted, kind, and generous soul, and in the words of one dear friend “he made each of us feel special”. Other friends described him as warm, caring, intelligent, funny, a really nice guy, and a good friend. His sister would tell you that he was the best brother (and friend) a sister could have. Glenn was the son of Bruce and Lee Burrows, who preceded him in death.

Glenn is survived by his brother Clifton “Skip” Burrows (Mary); sister Vivian (Burrows) Abramowitz; ex-wife and dear friend Dawn Burrows; daughter Kelly Campbell Martin (Nich); four grandchildren: Magnolia, Juniper, Phoenix, and Quince; father-in-law Eldon Walker; and more friends than one could count. A memorial celebration will be announced later. Memorials may be made in Glenn’s name to Centrica Care Navigators for their excellent care of Glenn, or Kairos Dwelling, for their loving and compassionate care of Glenn and the family during his final days.
