ORSOLINI, Gino Kalamazoo Gino passed away early Friday morning, January 19, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born November 21, 1929 in Elwood Park, Illinois, the son of the late Stephano and Massamina Pagnini Orsolini. Gino was raised in Chicago; later, moved to Kalamazoo, and graduated from Kalamazoo College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Gino was employed by Consumers Power before becoming a restaurateur and then a Realtor. He lived his final years in Kalamazoo near his family and friends. He was proud of his garden and loved to cook. Surviving are his former wife Carol Fox of Manistee; their seven children, Stephen Katie Orsolini of Portland, OR, Gregory Suzanne Orsolini of Lafayette, CA, Christine David Agopian Orsolini of Kalamazoo, Monica Stephen Orsolini of Grand Junction, CO, Beth John Scott of Kalamazoo, Nancy Craig Spink Orsolini of Kalamazoo, and Mary Geoffrey Paine of Manistee; fourteen grandchildren, Audra and Michael Orsolini, Morgan and Dylan Orsolini, Eana and Marita Agopian, Hunter and Sophia Thompson, Dayton and Daniel Scott, Shane and Grace Spink, and Kari and Andrea Paine; one great-granddaughter, Natalie Scott; one brother, Raymond Paula Orsolini of Villa Park, IL; and sister-in-law, Mary Orsolini. Preceding him in death are his parents, and one brother, Reginald Orsolini. Funeral services for Mr. Orsolini will be at 10:30 AM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, with Father James Richardson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be directed to V.A. Medical Center ? Recreation Fund.
