DOAN, Gertrude
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Gertrude passed away Thursday evening, July 29, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born November 17, 1927 in Comstock, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Austin Munson. She was employed by W.L. Molding for many years, until her retirement. Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Sandra Runcie; grandson, Kevin Thompson; brother, Don Munson; and sister, Alvie. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Thompson of Mattawan and Deborah Guthrie of Washington; three grandchildren, Jennifer Guthrie, Paul Traci Runcie, and Shannon Thompson; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Runcie and Haley Thompson; one sister, Harriett Little; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Kairos Dwelling for the Terminally Ill.
