Leesburg, FL, formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away Friday, February 10, 2011 in Leesburg, FL. Geraldine was born March 13, 1930 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Everett and Orene Colburn Grogg. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Albert Valkema I in 1982. Geraldine is survived by her husband, Russell; her children, Ronald J. Valkema, John Pam Valkema, Albert II Michelle Valkema, Jayne Jewel Graves and Kathy John Dykstra; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; step-children, Rob Elaine Perry and Char Tom Vander Roest; 3 step grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Grogg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church, 9316 Oakland Dr. with Rev. Jack Stulp officiating.
