Geraldine ''Gerry'' Dimock

DIMOCK, Geraldine ?Gerry? Kalamazoo Passed away April 11, 2007 at the Springs at Bronson Place with her family by her side. Gerry was born June 7, 1924 a daughter of Edward Davis and Mary Donivan Kendall and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 21 years at Allen Test Products. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed traveling, dancing and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Dimock in 1993 and by a son Jack Roser in 1972 and by a brother Harold Davis in 2003. Surviving are a daughter Mary Jill Pero and husband Tom of Richland; 3 grandchildren, Curt Amber VanAvery of Scotts, Scott Kara VanAvery of Kalamazoo and Kelly VanAvery of Kalamazoo; 5 great-grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Carter, Haley and Noah and by a niece Patti Larry Hale of Shelbyville; a step-daughter Susan Chris Clark of Scotts; a step-grandson Paul PJ Mielke, Jr. of Chicago and a step-great-granddaughter Kenzie. Services will be held at 11:00 o?clock Saturday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Kevin Barker officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Gerry?s memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the charity of your choice.
