SUTHERLAND, Georgia Fay Reynolds
of Portage Passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 17, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, at the age of 84. Born in Dardanelle, Arkansas on May 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Lee and Phoebe Taylor Reynolds. Georgia "George" or "Georgie" was an artist, talented in many arts and crafts, quilting, crocheting and knitting. She was an avid reader and had a candid sense of humor. Georgia enjoyed participating in the Covenant Senior Day Programs where she once again, put her crafts and talents to use. She was considered the expert in the garden. Georgia's husband, Francis Sutherland, mother, father and son, Robert, preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Wanda; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will take place Wednesday, 2:00 o'clock, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where family will greet friends from 1 - 2:00 o'clock, prior to services. Chaplain Lynn Likkel will officiate service.
