George A. Bunschoten

BUNSCHOTEN, George A. Kalamazoo Passed away May 28, 2007 at Bronson Hospital. George was born March 20, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Jasper and Gertrude Boutma Bunschoten and was a lifelong resident here. He was employed for 40 years at the Miller-Davis Company and after retirement for 6 years at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. George was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by a sister Sebertha Decker and by 2 brothers, Henry and Jasper Jim Bunschoten. Surviving are his wife Marjorie, to whom he was married on December 4, 1954; 2 sons, Greg Bunschoten of Ft. Worth, TX and Mark Bunschoten of Hillsborough, NC; a grandson Alexander Bunschoten; 3 sisters, Nellie Arthur Yahr of Portage, Gertrude Harry Cornell of Three Rivers and Florence Ronald Hayward of Vicksburg; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in George?s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, the Kalamazoo Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
