BRADEEN, Mr. George A.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday evening July 22, 2008. George was born March 1, 1924 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Earl and Edna Dickinson Bradeen. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with First of America for 15 years before retiring. He was also a member of the Kalamazoo First Church of the Nazarene for 46 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and 5 sisters. On November 15, 1952, he was united in marriage to Vivian "Joyce" Davis Bradeen who survives. Also surviving, 2 sisters, Barbara Art VanFulpen of Portage and Etta Kuras of Kalamazoo; close friends, Esther Wilbur Zirk of Kasson, MN; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 5625 Oakland Drive. There will be no visitation. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene.
