George T. Braasch

BRAASCH, George "Tom", age 64, of Kalamazoo, passed away early Friday morning, March 30, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born December 17, 1947 in Washington, D.C., the son of the late George H. and Mary Helen Stazel Braasch. Tom worked as a parts salesman for Western Michigan International Trucks for 15 years until his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Caryn T. Braasch; son, Jeff Janelle Braasch of Portage; step-children, Kevin Kelly Nosan of Portage and Kristine Lambert of Oshtemo; grandchildren, Kyra, Emmy, Noah, Paige, Katie, Takara and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Patience and A.J.; sisters, Jan Billy Hall of Climax, Sue Al Winthurst of Battle Creek, Shari Scott Saunders of Ohio and Karen Braasch of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Tom will be at 1:00 pm on Monday tomorrow at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, with Rev. C.T. Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Battle Creek Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 3-6 pm on Sunday today at the funeral home.
