NAPIER, Genevieve M.
Of Portage Genevieve passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Tendercare of Portage. She was born December 8, 1911, in Annawan, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Mabel Douglass Andrews and has been a Portage resident the past 20 years. She was employed for 35 years with Clarke Equipment Company and a member of the Westwood United Methodist Church. Genevieve was married to Floyd Napier who preceded her in death in 1969. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Crego and a great-grandson, Matthew Waddell. Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Gerald Dudgeon of Portage; two grandsons, Scott Mona Waddell of Manton, MI and Fred Dina Waddell of Vicksburg; great-grandchildren, Amy Todd Assanti, Amy Eric Kohler, Dru Jessica Kimbel Williams, Janessa and Joshua Waddell; a great-great-grandchild, Taylor Williams. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles, Michigan. Memorials in Genevieve's memory may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center, the West Michigan Heart Center, or a charity of your choice.
