And Centerburg, OH Passed away Sunday evening, September 2, 2007. Gary was born August 20, 1931 in Columbus, OH the son of Lyndol and Margaret Brown Beardsley. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955. Gary was an amateur radio operator and just loved to ?tinker?. He loved to do jigsaw puzzles, hunt wild mushrooms, and was known to everyone as the person who could fix anything. He also owned and operated a small resort in Curtis, MI called Deercove Beach for 46 years. He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Rosemary Baldwin. On November 17, 1956 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of over 50 years, the former Barbara Kennedy who survives. Also surviving are 2 children, Noel Lisa Beardsley, Letitia Michael Bates; 3 grandchildren, Julie Beardsley, Collin and Lauren Bates; his mother, Margaret Beardsley; and 3 nephews, Kent, Trent, and Tim Baldwin. There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. To honor Gary?s memory please donate a jigsaw puzzle or a book to your local library in Gary?s name.
