Garrett H. Boogholt

BOOGHOLT, Mr. Garrett H. Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon December 5, 2006 at his residence. Garrett was born April 20, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Wolter and Henrietta Dieterman Boogholt. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Hardings for 43 years and later worked at Town and Country Markets before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents. On January 5, 1973, he was united in marriage to Joan L. Espy Boogholt who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Wendy Matthew Fox and Donna Donald Crampton all of Portage, and Dawn Parker of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Boogholt of Schoolcraft; 2 sisters, Jane Longton of Portage and JoAnn Larry Ilecki of Schoolcraft; a nephew; and several cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund.
