Garnet June Smith

SMITH, Garnet June Richland Mrs. Smith passed away Monday afternoon; November 19, 2007 at St. Mary?s Health Care in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born June 23, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Charles and Edith Stafford Pratt. She was a member of the Delton Moose Lodge # 1649 and Gaylord Eagles Aerie # 1825. On July 7, 1951, in Kalamazoo, she was united in marriage to Gerald Smith, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, William Boyle; 3 brothers, Chuck, Billy and Glen Boyle and a sister, Harriet Stanley. Surviving are one son, Henry Sharon Nieuwenhuis of Lakeland, FL; siblings, Mary Lou Ray Hoogenboom of Kalamazoo, Patricia Russell Meeuwsen of Plainwell, Robert Norma Boyle and Richard Mary Lou Boyle all of Gun Lake. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday November 23 at Mt. Ever-Rest Mausoleum Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
