FW Schaeberle

SCHAEBERLE, Dr. FW Portage, MI Died Sunday evening April 29, 2007. FW was born December 15, 1925 in Ann Arbor, Michigan a son of Ernst and Irma Walter Schaeberle. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1965, coming from Missouri. He was employed with Western Michigan University as an Accounting Professor for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was also a member of the American Accounting Association; Internal Auditors Association; and Beta Alpha Phi. He was preceded in death by his parents. On June 17, 1956, he was united in marriage to Dorothy ?Diane? Crowell Schaeberle who survives. Also surviving, 2 sons, Scott Gini Schaeberle of Comstock and Kurt Schaeberle of Portage; 2 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two cousins. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Parkinson?s Foundation or the Western Michigan University Department of Accountancy.
