Kalamazoo, Michigan Mrs. Wagenaar passed away Sunday morning, August 3, 2008. She was born July 30, 1927 in Groningen, The Netherlands, the daughter of the late Andy and Janna Reker Klooster. On March 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to John Wagenaar in The Netherlands. John preceded her in death on June 23, 1994. Also preceding her in death are her 2 brothers, John and Jakob Klooster; and 2 sisters, Evelyn Kruisel and Trientje DeGroot. Surviving are 6 children, Nicolaas Ruth Wagenaar, Anne Wagenaar, Augustinus Jill Wagenaar, Janna Wagenaar, Johannes Wagenaar, and Melissa Rice; 11 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Ralph Marlene Klooster; 1 sister, Ria Bush; 2 sisters-in-law, Trudy and Ina Klooster; 2 brothers-in-law, Gus Minnie and Hein Auke Wagenaar; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Kina will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Hope Reformed Church, 910 Jenks Blvd., with Rev. Kent Frens officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Westside Chapel.
