GOULD, Sr. Frederick of Kalamazoo Died Saturday, May 19, 2007. Fred was born on September 27, 1912 to Ellsworth and Nellie Lull Gould in Lacota, MI. He was a great friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether snowblowing a driveway or repairing a lawnmower, or in recent years in failing health by encouraging and expressing love to his family, friends and caregivers. He will be remembered for his wonderful smile and gentle manner. Fred was a longtime member of Milwood United Methodist Church. He was employed for 32 years by the Upjohn Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline whom he married on September 25, 1939; sister, Evelyn Bradley; his brother, John W. Gould; and his son, Jack Gould, Sr. Surviving are his; son, Fred Judy Gould, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Janet Gould; daughter, Christy Tom Smith, all of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Linda Gould, Fred Pam Gould III, Tammie Mike Brouwer, Jack Gould Jr. Beth Ann, Jill Larry Jordan, Jenny Tim Bilkey, Mindy, Matt and Jordan Smith; great grandchildren, Stephen, Melissa, Ryan Gould, Ben and Becca Brouwer, Kayla and Kyle Jordan, Nicholas Gould, Nathan and Lindsey Bilkey and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Monday, May 21, 2007 from 4 ? 8:00PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo. Memorial Services will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Hope Reformed Church, 910 Jenks Blvd., Kalamazoo, Rev. Kent Frens, officiating. Private graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Myeloma, Kalamazoo Christian Schools, Saint Monica School or Rose Arbor Hospice.
