of Portage, Michigan Died February 12, 2013 at the age of 92. A sister to 6 brothers and 5 sisters, she was born August 13, 1920 in Butler County, Iowa to the late Dan and Annie Outkurk Bolhuis. She was united in marriage to Robert Moerdyk, who preceded her in death in December of 1998. Rita leaves behind her daughter, Bonnie Bruce Bell of Portage; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her son, Stanley Moerdyk; and grandson, Adam Bell. No visitation is scheduled. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, February 19th, 1:30 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should arrive at the cortege area between 1:15 pm-1:30 pm. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
