Fred C Cook, Jr

COOK, Mr. Fred C., Jr. Portage, MI Died Friday afternoon December 15, 2006. Fred was born April 18, 1952 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Fred and Gweneth VanOoy Cook, Sr. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Ronnigen-Petter for 20 years and most recently worked for the Dimplex Corporation. He is survived by a daughter, Lacey Lance Knutson of Portage; his parents, Fred Gweneth Cook, Sr. of Portage; a brother, Tom Becky Cook of Lawton; a sister, Charlene Cook of Mattawan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 3 o'clock Wednesday at the 12th Street Baptist Church, 3911 S. 12th St. There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Rose Arbor Hospice Program.
