Franklin W. Phillips

PHILLIPS, Franklin W. Kalamazoo, MI Frank went to be with our Lord Saturday morning January 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 11, 1929 in Doster, Michigan to Franklin W. and Laura Johnson Phillips. In 1948, Frank was married to Fran Calloway, until her passing in 2006. Also preceding him in death are his parents; step-mother, Mary; a daughter, Cindy Fouch in 2000; and 4 brothers and sisters, Mary, Dennis, Beverly, and Bill. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Buchman Phillips; 3 children, Franklin W. Gail Phillips Jr. of Portage, Fredrick Phillips of Toledo, OH, and Rick Debbie Phillips of Kalamazoo; a son-in-law, David Fouch of Otsego; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Ida Madison of Richland, Dora Bernie Zimmerman of Midland, and Shirley Bill Westphal of the U.P.; 3 brothers, Dan Phillips of Wayland, Jim Pat Phillips of Plainwell, and Lloyd Sue Phillips of Kalamazoo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and a service celebrating Frank's life will begin at 10 o'clock Saturday at Lakeland Reformed Church, 10442 Sprinkle Road, Vicksburg, with Rev. Ed Schmidt officiating. Private interment will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
