MORRIS, Francis B. Kalamazoo Passed away January 11, 2007 in Locust Grove, OK. He was born January 25, 1921 in Kalamazoo, the son of Harry C. and Eva Mohney Morris and had been a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo until moving to Oklahoma 2 ½ years ago. He was employed in the paper making industry, working for James River Corporation KVP Sutherland for over 28 years. During WW II, he served his country in the Unites States Army and was a member of the VFW for several years. On November 7, 1947, he married the former Lora Keefe and she preceded him in death on January 1, 2001. He was also preceded by his parents; a son, Michael Bullard; 2 grandchildren, Kathy Brant and Kathy ?Baby? Bullard; 2 brothers, Leroy Morris and Wesley Morris; a sister, Genevieve Taft. He is survived by his daughter, Jerry Ann Jim Rogers of Locust Grove, OK; grandchildren, Lora John Cripe, Ron Ford and Michael Julia Cook; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Louise Johnson Gladysz of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with Rev. Dr. Harry Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, with full military honors provided by VFW Post 6252, Comstock. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
