ANDERSONS, Franceska Biruta
of Kalamazoo Passed away November 17, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Care. She was born March 5, 1924 in Lejasciems, Latvia, the daughter of Peteris and Emma Berzins. She was a member of Latvian Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Kalamazoo, where she was the church organist for many years. She enjoyed listening to classical music. She retired from Control Data, an office forms printing company. Surviving are, her son, Janis O. Ann Andersons; grandsons, Richard Andersons and Burns Phillips; several nieces and nephews and their families; sister-in-law, Daila Berzins; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Helmuts; and several half brothers and half sisters. No visitation is scheduled. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, November 28th , 11:00, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Memorials may be directed to Rose Arbor Hospice or the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Kalamazoo.
