DONOVAN, Frances I.
Schoolcraft Frances passed away Saturday morning, May 15, 2010, at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born December 26, 1920, in Bloomingdale, MI, a daughter of Wendell and Fern Robinson Klein. For many years Frances taught physical education for Bangor Public Schools. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Donovan, in 1981. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Katherine Cullinane and two other sisters, Maurine Andrus and Pauline Harris. Surviving are: three children, Batt Donovan of Orlando, FL, Sharon Jeff Conklin of Schoolcraft, MI and Helen Davis of Murphy, NC; four grandchildren, Andrea Young of Phoenix, AZ, Kimberly Donovan of Dallas, TX, Chelsea Donovan of West Palm Beach, FL and Beach Davis of Murphy, NC; two great-grandsons, Jackson and Nicholas Young; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 4:00 Sunday today afternoon at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1628 E. "G" Ave. with the Rev. Fr. James O'Leary, presider. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at church. Private interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Paw Paw will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions should be directed to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Kairos Dwelling.
