BUIS, Frances M. Tazelaar
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Frances passed away Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012 at Borgess Gardens. She was born March 1, 1933 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Lee Lance and Charlotte Keckler Lance-Warren. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Roy Buis on Dec. 27, 2005; and two brothers, Lee and Sherman Lance. Surviving are her cousin, Shirley Rogers; ten children, Charlotte Alvie Predum, Mary Hughes, Debbie Snyder, George Joann Tazelaar, Linda Payne, Sherry Henderson, Pam Frank Tibbits, Kathy Dutch Doorlag, Keith Angela Buis and Nancy Buis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Frances will be at 1:30 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, with Msgr. Thomas A. Martin officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Frances' family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Borgess Gardens, especially Herb and Rebecca, for the care and compassion they have shown to Frances and her family.
