Florence L. Rumsey

RUMSEY, Florence L. Of Kalamazoo Formerly of Grand Rapids Passed away Saturday evening, August 18, 2007. Florence was born May 28, 1922 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Peter and Helen Krucki Michalewski. She was employed for 20 years with the Amway Corporation and was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Grand Rapids. Florence was also a member of Toastmasters International and was a volunteer at the Discovery Shop in Kalamazoo. On September 12, 1952 she was united in marriage to Mortimer Rumsey who preceded her in death on August 15, 1991. Surviving is a daughter, Mary Dale Rudkin; a sister, Esther Morrison; and several nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 o?clock Tuesday at the Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 North 26th Street with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. A time of refreshments will follow the service and private family interment will be at a later date.
