Felix John Escobedo

Felix John Escobedo, 68, of Kalamazoo passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2024 in Kalamazoo.  

He was born November 9, 1955 to the late John and Irene (Campos) Escobedo in Kalamazoo, MI. Not long after graduating from High School, Felix went on to join the work force, being employed at the Minute-Maid/Coca Cola manufacturing plant in Paw Paw, MI for 32 years. He met the love of his life, Mary Rodriguez in 1987. Felix was a lover of life and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, and softball. He especially loved going to the fair with his family to enjoy fresh fries with salt and vinegar. 

Felix is survived by two loving step-daughters; Matilda Vasquez and Lupe Vasquez and many loving grandkids and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Esther Escobedo.  

Visitation will take place at 10 AM on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan. A Prayer service will take place at 11 AM with Fr. Mike Hazard officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kalamazoo, MI at 12:30 PM. The family invites you to Niko’s Landing located at 5852 King’s Highway following the burial for a repass.
