of Lac du Flambeau, WI Faye passed away Tuesday evening, January 3, 2012 at her home in Kalamazoo with her family by her side. She was born March 13, 1927 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of William and Beatrice Beam Iten. Surviving are her five children, Jamie Thomas Miller, William Beth Evans, Margaret Johnson, Thomas Evans, and Sally Andrew Vorbrich; and six grandchildren, Katie Humphreys, Anne Evans, Jim Miller, Erica Johnson, Willie Vorbrich and Steven Vorbrich. Preceding her in death was her husband, James T. Evans. A memorial service for Faye will be at 4:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2012 at First United Methodist Church Chapel, 212 S. Park Street, with Rev. John Boley officiating. An additional memorial service will take place in her home town of Lac du Flambeau, WI this summer with interment in Clinton, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to Ministry with Community, Kalamazoo or Community Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 159, Lac du Flambeau, WI 54538. Arrangements have been entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
