Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born March 28, 1951 in Jellico, TN, the son of Billie Burt and Mildred Brown Green and lived in the Kalamazoo area for several years. Everett was a die setter and worked for Checker Motors for 20 years. During this time, he earned two degrees, AS LRM from the University of Indiana and AS PRM from the University of Wisconsin. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by the mother of his children, Peggy Aliese Jordan Green; his children, Michael Anthony Green 42 of Daytona Beach, FL, Jimmy Ray Green 36 of Parchment, Misty Hayes Zimmerman 33 of Coldwater, Crystal Gail Green 31 of Parchment; grandchildren, Miranda 17, Minnie 17, Chelsea 15, Kaley 13, James 9, Rebecca 6, Ruby 2, Leanna 23 mo., Kevin 10 mo. and Bristol 3 mo. Always in my heart, Always Daddy's little girl, Gone home, Jesus is coming soon. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will take place on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Following the committal at Ft. Custer, family and friends are welcome to join the family from 1-3 PM, at the family home for a gathering with food and fellowship.
