Everett S. Bierma, Sr

BIEREMA, Everett S., Jr. Kalamazoo , MI Passed away Friday, November 6, 2009. Everett was born December 10, 1928 in Kalamazoo, the son of Everett, Sr. and Jeanette Berggraff Bierema and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. He graduated from Kalamazoo College with a BA and was a member of Parchment United Methodist Church. Everett served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War era and was a salesman for LSI/KALA for 44 years. On December 30. 1950 he married Doris E. Daub, who preceded him in death on July 21, 1994. He was also preceded by his parents. Everett is survived by his children, Julia Wayne Pferdehirt of Madison, WI, Steven Cathy Bierema of Kalamazoo, Sara Cid Chambers of Seattle, WA and Elizabeth Alain Flexor of Mandeville, LA; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
