Evelyn I White

WHITE, Evelyn I. Augusta Passed away Friday, December 8, 2006. She was born April 23, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Howard F. and Ida I. Nowland Goostrey and had been a resident of Augusta for many years. Evelyn had retired after serving many years as a Registered Nurse, was a member of the Galesburg United Methodist Church, and enjoyed reading, traveling and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Dan, in 1979. Her survivors include her three sons, Donald Karen White of Augusta, Wayne White and Gary White both of Battle Creek; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a sister, Betty Lewis of Ft. Myers, FL; 3 brothers, Jack Dorothy Goostrey of Ft. Myers, FL, Charles Louise Goostrey of Kalamazoo and Edward Betty Goostrey of Olivet, MI; nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later time.
