Climax, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at her home. She was born October 11, 1929 in Cadillac, MI, the daughter of Clifford and Myrtle Weed Kanipe. On March 4, 1948, Evelyn was united in marriage to Ora Chaney, who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Ricky Debbie Chaney of Scotts, Frank Karin Milliman of Burr Oak, Tim Norma Chaney of White Cloud, and Kyle Chaney of Climax; 1 brother; 3 sisters; several grand and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Evelyn will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 7520 E. U Avenue, Vicksburg, with Rev. Roland Dunlop officiating. Private interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
