formerly of Long Lake Passed away on June 3, 2013. She was 91. Evelyn was born November 5, 1921 in Kalamazoo to the late Walter G. and Marvel E. O'Neill Johnson. Evelyn was united in marriage to Frederick Bosker, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 2, 1973. She was a longtime member of North Park Reformed Church. Evie loved to walk through the woods and go camping. She was an avid painter and enjoyed the lake life. Evie is survived by her daughter, Carol Richard Pileri of Portage; 4 grandchildren, Tracy Jason Eaton Misel, Anthony Crystal Pileri, Jason Shawndra Pileri and Christine Christopher Li; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Walter Arvid Johnson of Kalamazoo, William G. Joan Johnson of Parchment, Kathleen M. John Frie of Delton and Esther L. Miller of Pentwater; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Evie in death was her son, David Bosker; and sister, Marilyn Adams. A graveside service will take place Friday, 11:00 am at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to Kalamazoo Animal Rescue.
