GRIMME, Mrs. Eva M.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday morning September 13, 2008 at Borgess Hospital. Eva was born September 13, 1917 in Bono, Ohio a daughter of John and Mary Pasquini Angeletti. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Upjohn Nursing Home for 15 years where she loved caring for her patients. She was also a member of Sunnyside United Methodist Church where she was very active in many church programs. Eva was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Elmer Crowell on May 26, 1965; her second husband, Howard Grimme in May of 1995; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters. She is survived by 2 children, Betty Carl Young of Kalamazoo and Janet Frank Barnes of Alameda, CA; 4 grandchildren, Brent Kathy Young, Carla Mike Kennedy, Tracy Donald Appoloni, and Aimee Barnes; 6 great-grandchildren, Justin and Neil Young, Sarah and Christopher Kennedy, Rachel Plankenhorn, and Cole Appoloni; a sister, Virginia Walroth of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday at the Sunnyside United Methodist Church, 2800 Gull Rd. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
