of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. She was born November 16, 1923 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Daniel and Jennie Poolman Maas and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. Eunice attended Calvary Bible Church for over 75 years and had worked for Heilman's Chocolate Shop for many years. On November 10, 1950, she married James P. Ampersee, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2004. She was also preceded by her parents; 10 brothers; 2 sisters. Eunice is survived by her children, Donald Connie Ampersee of Plainwell and Mary Ann Ampersee of Cooper; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas Ampersee and Ashley Bob Keys; a step great grandson, Sylas Keys; a sister, Audrey Blakeman; 4 sisters-in-law, Patricia Maas, Nancy Maas, Jean Maas and Donna Frye; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Calvary Bible Church or the charity of one's choice.
