SLACK, Eugene "Gene"
Of Kalamazoo Eugene A. Slack was born November 15, 1955, in Marcellus, the son of Norman and Marjorie Green Slack and died February 9, 2011 in Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers, Norm and Bill Slack. For several years he was involved in the local Boy Scout Program. Surviving are his sister, Linda Mark Turner of Galesburg; nieces, Heather Turner and Jessica Richard Ebels; great niece and nephews, Kaylin, Dominic and Landon Ebels. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street where an informal service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM. A private interment will be in Moore Park Cemetery. Memorials in Gene's memory may be directed to Rota-Kiwan or Michigan Diabetes Assn. www.langelands.com
