Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Died suddenly on March 14, 2008. Gene is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie, daughters Judith DeGraaf of Kalamazoo and Kathryn Makeig of Rockville, MD, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a World War II veteran and part of the design team for the original Mustangin a 30 year career with Ford Motor Company. He will be missed. Ceremonies will be private.
